Bailout Bust!
So they lied to us again. Surprise surprise! That $700 Billion bailout went to buying stock in the banks. It didn't help pay mortgages like it was suppose too. So what's the solution? Oh, why they are asking for more money to actually pay the morgages this time beacuse they screwed up. AIG who received a large bulk, went on about their business and paid for a luxury all expenses paid conference for it's employees. I mean they already received like $70 million and that didn't save their company so they are asking for more money. What ever kind of company that needs that much money should just fail. Our national debt is the highest ever right now. I mean since 1791 until last year, we racked up $10 Trillion in debt. In just one year we have already racked up another $5 Trillion. Come on! It seems that is what our country is teaching our kids Debt=ok. Bailing out after bailing out is just racking up our debt not helping the economy. Who is going to bail our country out of debt? Oh, that's right the chinese have bought our bad debt. What happens when they sell it? We need to ride it out, if it causes a depression so be it. We will rise from it!

Ava got her first hair cut ever the other day...
She has never ever had her hair cut before and nor did she want this. But I had to just do it. Every night I play tug of war with the knots in her mile long hair while she screams to death. So I got out the scissors and cut like 5 inches off while she wailed. She kept insisting that she isn't beautiful anymore until everybody else convinced her otherwise. She was not cooperating with the camera though.
Hey does anyone recognize this?
I was just going through old photos and came across the wall of drunkenness(is that a word?) And this was like the second day. Ah.....Good Times!!!

Yummy Rasberry Lip Balm
I found that the only problem in making this is that I was constantly licking my lips (basically eating it) off. So I guarantee it's yummy!
- 3-5 teaspoons Petroleum Jelly
- 1-2 Crystal light Rasberry ice individual packet (for water bottle size)
- small container with lid (I like to use the sample jars from Sephora or MAC
- 1 wooden chopstick
Depending on your container size, fill it just a tiny bit below the rim with petroleum jelly. Microwave in 30 second intervals stirring with chopstick in between until it is liquid like thin soup. Pour in crystal light packet immediately and mix well. Add more for a darker shade. Put in refrigerator for at least 1 hour until it hardens. Voila!
Coffee Sugar Scrub
I just learned how to create these yummy and edible beauty products so I thought I would share ( Note to friends: I may be making these for Xmas gifts)
Coffee Sugar Cellulite Body Scrub
Coffee Sugar Cellulite Body Scrub
- 1 cup Sugar
- 3 Tbls. Ground Coffee
- 1 Tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 Tbls. cocoa powder
- Pinch Nutmeg
- Pinch Ginger
- 1/3 cup Baby oil
Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Then add in the baby oil and mix. Pour into a container with lid.
For targeting cellulite, slather on the scrub to area and wrap with saran wrap. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
